Rain In Qatar?

ok this is sooo ironic.

raining during the summer IN THE MIDDLE EAST?!!

yes guys, Qatar rained for 20 mins at arnd 9:05 to 9:25 this morning.

i was swimming for PE... first, i thought it was gonna be a sandstorm since the day is gloomy and all... but the lightning strikes and thunder too!!!! omg.then it started drizzling. i just couldnt believe it. unfortunately, not all of the girls swam today, sooo shame for them, they din swim under the rain like we did!

fun fun. i got scared in the end because im scared that the lightning strikes me. u never know what happens right..who knows my swim suit is an electric conductor. * u never know (A) *

finally, i handed in my Film Coursework. thank god. 2 done, 1 to go. Album Cover. pah ill figure a way to do it... ill manage as for now, i have to catch up with my revision. Biology,Chemistry and Physics. no time to waste.

i went for my first ballet class. oh god, im so jealous of Atika for not having to be experiencing the pain of doing splits.

its soo painful. all i can do during the ballet class was the skipping thingy, the hand thingy and the legs thingy. - i forgot the terms-

i need to check on eBay for Ballet shoes. coz Ballet shoes are expensive and im not sure if i love doing ballet or not. my reason for doing ballet is to have ubber good body posture and to be flexible. the dancing bit is a bonus.

so we were taught on how to bow, and the 5 steps of ballet. hard bit was the splits part. ouchhhiesss.

yesterday, i went to CityCentre with my mum. there werent much ppl there, not bad not bad. so lesson learned: only go to CC during weekdays. i got myself tights and a top. wooohooo. =)

i think im going home on the 19th July. however, i will not be staying in Miri for long. i think ill be there for a week. lol.. so i have to choose a date to visit miri. but yea whatever. as long as i go back to Miri, im super duper fine.

im sickkkk.... sigh the flu hasnt got any better, infact my voice sounds weird, says Rahmi.

oh my gosh. its soo funny today. well, i asked Bilal for Halls after break.. so he gave it to me.. but he didnt give Rahmi. sooo rahmi was like saying "bilal's so hot bilal's so nice" sweet talking u call it. Bilal still didnt wanna give her any, he gave his friends the sweet instead. then Rahmi got pissed she took Bilal's planner and Bilal took hers.

the next lesson was Maths. hahahah and thats when the boys discovered the Rahmi's "time of the month" dates at the back of the planner... coz yeah she needs to have them signed by her mum for swimming.

they kept teasing her and like asking her if she has it now. damnn that must be embarassing, but she said she doesnt mind. so thats why im typing it here. hehehe lets just hope she doesnt reads this OR ELSE, IM DEAD, well sorta.

to reg: reg.. i can smell my socks. it smells nicer than his. so next time let me sit at ur place *cries* - hahah random i think i was just thinkng of myself being in Locchead's class sitting near Mr Smelly Feet.

oh my gosh Summerland is getting better day by day. dammit. i even start falling in love with Zac Efron. i thought i swore that i will never say that hes hot. somehow, he is!!

1 more episode till Season Finale. ok then guys i better go. dad bought some goodies. =)

Channing Tatum is the guy in Shes The Man and Step Up.

i think Channing is way hotter than Wentworth because.. his eyes arent so tense. unlike wentworth its soooooo weird, u dnt know even know how wentworth looks like when hes feeling happy or angry or whatever because of his eyes. it stays the same way ALL THE TIME. and channing looks so much younger.... just like a typical young adult. HUNKY. hawt.

ok today was like the worse day ever!!!!!

1. had flu and slight cough
2. mr davies told me that he made a "decision" on my behalf that i will resit my P1a C1a B1a which i got As for!
3. business studies test. not hard. but to much questions, i had to leave 2 questions unanswered. one worth 2 marks and one worth 4 marks. not much (A)
4. couldnt concentrate in Music. cant even record a melody after knowing that i will be resitting all 3 papers ON MY BIRTHDAY.
5. got 8.5 out of 10 for Biology homework. that cheers me up.
6. i cant believe i still remember the Night of The Scorpion poem. =) we had to like answer the questions abt the poem.

ok. when mr davies told me that he decided to make me resit my 3 As, i was like gonna cry and i was like tottally blur and i felt nervous the whole day. i also wanted to laugh, without any reason to laugh over for. have u ever felt as if ur heart is soo ticklish that u just wish to laugh? ok heart?ticklish? ahh.. cmon u know what i mean =) which is weird, i think im going crazy. pls blame paracetemol for my abnormal behaviour.

he laughed at me when he told me that! and i was like saying " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' and mr vardy passed by and laughed too and and farhan overheard it and he was like laughing too! then he stopped and wait for me. then he advised me that i should try resitting coz its worth trying.

ok so i am resitting, and pls tell me its the right thing to do. *cries out loud*

so in break time, i talked to Mr Davies. and we made a deal. HMPH.

i told him that i would like to resit biology coz i think its my strongest subject. and i dont mind resitting chemistry coz i enjoy chemistry. HOWEVER, i do not want to resit P1a because i find it rather hard. well not hard.. but i dnt know. its more of like "not a fun thing to learn" seriously, who cares about windfarms?or tidal waves? i dnt mind doing P1B coz that one is like abt radiation and waves and stuff. some interesting stuffs.

Mr davies made me give like 2 reasons why i dont want to resit Physics. i swear, my voice sounded as if i was gonna cry. i kept sighing everytime he says PHYSICS. lol. *form of persuading*

my reasons were : the P1A bit is boring and not interesting. some maths formula needs to be memorised.

calculating energy effiency is easy but the other one , where u have to calculate how many KJ is used on insulating stuffs is like WHATEVER.

so we made a DEAL.

Mr davies saw my Physics results. Both As for P1a and P1b.

" its really good, but why dont u go for an A*?"

i replied, NOOOOOO PLS NO I DONT LIKE PHSYICS. I DONT MIND RESITTING P1B.

then hes like ok so, why dont u just resit Bio and Chemistry and then if u get an A* we wll resit the physics P1a next year in MARCH. which means, im sitting for the EXAM together with the YR 10s next year.

gawd he makes me feel like im this robotic nerd or smt? im not that hardworking or smt. and doesnt he gets the point that i HATE PHYSICS?

so i came back home, ate lunch, practised piano, then did my media coursework, then finished my maths hwk. and then started revising for BIOLOGY.

i learned abt Fertility Drugs,Menstrual Cycle,Nervous System,and the sensory neurone stuff. I KNOW THE SEQUENCE! REG! BE PROUD OF ME! (H)

i did this.

once again, i am suffering from a sore throat. *great*

how many times in 5 months did i suffer from this throat poking disease.
as far as i recalled, i drank LOADS OF WATER.

i am currently FRUSTRATED.

my mum told me like last week that prob Lannie and Bawen, my childhood friends are gonna come here to visit me on Friday. well we WERE gonna celebrate something together.

but unfortunately, the weekend in Saudi arabia starts from Weds to Friday so which means, they have to go to sch on a saturday.

and so, they couldnt make it.

yes, it would be awesome if they made a last minute plan. GUYS, PLEASE VISIT ME.

what did i do today?

i finished 2 pages of my storyboard, revised business studies, swim, and COOK.

yes rachel cooked.

my mum couldnt figure out what she wanted to cook and so i went to the freezer, defrost a dozen of chicken wings. and started marinating.

RACHEL'S GRILLED CHICKEN WINGS RECIPE

• 3 tablespoons of Chinese barbeque sauce or just an ordinary bbq sauce
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1 tablespoon of sugar. ( to make the chicken skin look golden, i like it when its goldenish brownish)

step 1: defrost chicken wings. for about 4 mins in the microwave (dont defrost it too long, it might get too soft)

step 2: marinate chicken wings. add bbq sauce, add salt and sugar. place the chicken wings and the ingredients in a zipper bag. or u could mix it in a bowl. but it might be uneven.

step 3: shake it! and keep shaking it! =D so the chicken wings are marinated evenly.

step 4: leave it for abt 20 mins

mum made a last minute decision. so we went swimming. i left the chicken wings in the fridge. and the longer iits marinated, the nicer it tastes. but its up to u.....how long u wana marinate it.

step 5: take a flat baking tray. cover it with aluminium foil. brush cooking oil on it, so that the chicken doesnt stick on it. preheat oven 385 F

step 6: arrange chicken wings nicely.

step 7: keep remaining sauce.

step 8: wait for half an hour, then flip the chicken wings up to grill the other surface. brush chicken wings with remaining sauce.

step 9: slightly open the oven door, to broil the chicken wing. ( this makes the skin look goldenish brown)

step 10: wait for another 10 mins

AND VOILA! UR GRILLED CHICKEN WINGS.

this comes in handy when ur mum's not at home.

i wanted to take a picture of my chicken wings, but then i forgot . i was too lazy and hungry

oh u could take like half a ginger . and shred it. to add the fragrance hehehe.

and and u know, the oil that comes out from the chicken, u can use it for gravy. just add barbeque sauce and add cornflour. THER U GO. gravy. brown gravy as seen on mashed potatoes.

try it;) and let me know, what u think ok? its simple, and quick. it takes 45 minutes for ur rice to be cooked, while waiting why dnt u prepare rachel's grilled chicken wings to?;) it takes about an hour. =)

i ate it with mashed potatoes.

just simply boil 2 potatoes, then when its soft, smash it, add butter, and add a little bit of milk. pour some gravy on top. there you go. just like in the restaurants =)

nothing much happened in school.

cept for myself not being able to do Translation and reflection very well. yes guys, most of u say that its easier than lovely quadrats. unfortunately, no for me. seeing as im NOT A visual learner.
i dnt know what to expect if anything gets reflected.

is it common sense? its hard

im more of an auditory learner and a kinestetic. however we spell it. but u know, if i practise reflecting those odd shapes i might be able to do it, but i just CANT be bothered right now, because i HATE this sort of stuff.

the corners have to be perpendicular to the mirror line? - ERK. WHAT?

however in english, Sabri was impressed with my handwriting.

well yaa (A) my handwriting is b-a-u-t-ful. it gets messy sometimes depending on how i hold my pen.

my witnesses are the Pitzpopmie. they saw me... i swam more than 2 laps. i swear.i think i did 8 laps. i think. not bad for a beginner, ey? *laughs* i bet ms hemmings will give me 5 merits if i was in yr 7. *thats what she said to me the other day anyways -_-" *

i dnt know why, i was like sort of pissed of when we did the aacting rehearsal for the Yr 10 assembly. the yr 10jva boys werent listening to the girls AT ALL. mr vardy was just sitting down, and i could tell that he wanted us all to focus abt the drama. he din tell us off, instead he just sat there eating crisps. =S

i tried my best to like tell them to "inta chab" but then, like after 10 seconds they started coming up with suggestions. rahmi had to yell at them when she was explaining smt. chaotic.

im starting to go to the gym again =D feels gdddd to be back.. ive got my Summer trip to motivate me =) must lose weight, so that i could as much as i can in Malaysia.

before i went home, mr davies talked to me. and asked if i really dont wanna resit. well, its coz i signed this paper saying that im not gona resit my first chem paper, first bio paper, and first physics paper. i was so tempted to say yes!!!! last week when i was signing that yes/no resit form, i thought of doing it. then in my heart i was like.... ahhh i cant be bothered to studyyy coz i straight As for those.. im gonna resit in Nov coz i got a B in the second paper for chem and second for bio. ( so much for Lammark and Darwin's theory. so much for Ethene and Polymers)

i was so tempted to agree to resit, because mr davies was like, just give it a try. its worth it, who knows u might get an A* which is even better than an A.

im thinking of doing something during the summer.

like play piano at Marriot or something. lets see how much u get paid for playing piano. im not in desperate need for money, but i need the experience. and plus everyone's gonna be in sch when im having my summer holidays. coz their end of term is in Nov.

i just researched on how much most ppl pay for pianists playing in hotels. its on average $250 US dollars per month. ooo scandalous.

wonder if they give such pay in JW Marriot, Miri.

i should contact them.. or send them an email. i want a summer job.

coz i might get bored while everyone's studying for SPM and PMR. -_-"
