highlight of the day: MALAY FOOD


i slept at abt 9:30 pm last night. i was so damn exhausted ive never felt that way. i woke up at like 6 this morning. then im like "ceh, its still early, im going back to sleep"

in the end, i woke up at like 11:30am

i feel so fresh, so nice...!!

then i had crepes for bfast. and i was forced to take a shower because we had to go to Amalina's hse.

it was my family, nadia's family and amalina's family of course

the food was soo delicious! her mum made Laksa Sarawak, Ayam Masak Merah, Nasi smt.but its yellow in colour, and grilled chicken wings

YUMZ. i went to the table for like 8 times to take some food. i took bit by bit u know so u understand why i have to go there many times (A)

amalina's bro was talking to me in Bahasa Sarawak. wah hes sooo gd at it. well duh theyre malays. but cmon, its sooo gd! hes just 7 and he speaks like a pro. so is amalina and her sis.

they spoke to me in bahasa srwk and sometimes i reply back with my KL slang. =( then i tried talking in bahasa srwk, i just couldnt do it, then indo just sometimes pop up. everytime we said an indo word we go like " darn, its all because of having indos in sch, when theyre all arnd u, u just get used to their language"

really embarassing

sik da = nothing, theres none

sine (pronounced c-nay) = where?

kitak = you

kamek= me

tunggah= call

nok ney = which one?


i think thats all i know.im really retarded at it. i swear to god. its embarassing. been living in the state of sarawak for like 13 yrs of my life. and i just know some of em? well, i could listen and udnerstand, but i just cant speak. like how i can speak malay. its really embarassing.
